Deanne Allman Vallee, age 86, of Porter, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. Born in Baytown, Texas, to W.B. and Callie Allman, she lived a life grounded in grace, faith, and an unwavering love for her family.
Deanne married the love of her life, Herchel M. Vallee, on November 16, 1971, in Allen, Louisiana. She built a fulfilling career with Humble Oil Co. and Continental Emsco, and later served as an activity director at a skilled nursing facility, where her joy and creativity touched many lives.
A devoted member of First Baptist Church, Deanne lived out her faith with a warm heart and generous spirit. She cherished time spent sewing, crafting, baking, and, above all, gathering with those she loved.
She is survived by her children: daughters Alison Sjolander and fiancé Mike Woodruff, and Jana Cornish and Stan; sons Burt McShan and wife Joyce, Ryan Vallee and wife Jennifer, and Heath Vallee and wife Melissa. She was the proud grandmother of 17 adoring grandchildren: Josh (Denise) Worthy, Hannah (Toby) Blanchard, Dannon (Dusty) Nicholson, Keith (Rene) Whitten, Rusty (Ariel) Whitten, Cameron Cornish, Justin McShan, Colby McShan, Ryan (Erin) McShan, Chase McShan, Zachary Vallee, Jordan Vallee, Londyn Vallee, Temarie Vallee, Emma (C.J.) Bench, Hayden (Makenzie) Vallee, Makena Vallee, Coby, Cody (Dean), and Cory Nesmith. She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Jo Ann Lyles.
Deanne is preceded in death by her husband, Herchel Vallee; her parents, W.B. and Callie Allman; her stepdaughter, Mary Virginia Pierce; her great-grandson, Brody Whitten; and her brother-in-law, Walter Vallee.
Deanne’s life was a testament to the beauty of devotion and kindness. Her love echoes through generations of family, each carrying forward a piece of her spirit.
