When I first met Papa he was introduced as Papa Don Housley. I called him Papa Don for a while, but he very quickly became just "Papa". His kind, generous, easy going nataure made it so easy to enjoy my time with him. We'd sit by the fire and tell stories....what he refered to as telling lies, and o'boy could we tell those lies! Sometimes he'd tell me stories of his childhood, the war or his family life. Family was very important to Papa and he always treated me like family, always making me feel welcome to share a part of his life. He surely will be missed, but I'm so grateful for the time I had with him.
