Crystal Lea Lyles, went to be with the Lord at the age of 41 on August 29, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born on October 5, 1981, to Curtis and Betty Copaus in Houston, Texas.
Crystal married the love of her life James Joseph Lyles on April 28, 2007, in Humble, Texas and had 1 son named Jordan.
She attended Texas Woman’s University where she earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005.
Crystal was a dedicated nurse for 18 years. She worked at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital.
She enjoyed relaxing at the beach, fishing, and camping. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her 2 dogs and 2 cats. Crystal loved spending time with friends and family, especially her son, Jordan, who was everything to her. She was a proud mother who loved watching her son swim and being by his side to cheer him on at his swimming competitions.
She was a strong Christian woman of Lutheran faith.
Crystal is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, James Lyles, her son, Jordan Lyles both of Crosby, Texas. Her loving parents Curtis and Betty Copaus of Crosby, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters, Charlotte, and Robert Eggert Jr.; nephew, Robert III of Crosby, Texas; Cindy and Travis Trichell of Anahuac, Texas; Sherry Delvige and Robert McDermot of Oak Island, Texas; Tammy and Fred Yust of Batson, Texas; Sheila Copaus of Crosby, Texas and in-laws Wayne and Suzanne Lyles of Spring, Texas.
