Clyde Douglas Yandell, "Bud"'s Obituary
Clyde Douglas "Bud" Yandell, 79 born January 30,1940, passed away on December 2,2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Grace and E.C. "Jack" Yandell. Clyde is survived by his sisters Kathryn Yandell of Seguin and Linda Yandell of Houston. He attended Highlands Elementary, Baytown Jr. High and Robert E. Lee High School. He went on to Sam Houston State where he majored in business. Clyde was drafted into US Army where he served for 2 years. Upon discharge he went to work in California then back to Houston working for Baylor College of Medicine in the purchasing department. Upon retirement from BCM he moved back to Highlands to live in the family home. He became very involved at Highlands United Methodist Church where he served in various positions. He loved his church and his church family.
In lieu of flowers you may donate to Highlands United Methodist Church; Christian Cupboard, Guadalupe Habitat for Humanity or Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, all in Seguin, Tx.; Houston Zoo or any animal rescue organization or any charity near and dear to your heart.
