Clarron “Buddy” Higdon, 77, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Humble, Texas. He was born on September 26, 1948, to Samuel and Lillian Higdon in Houston, Texas, and later married the love of his life, Pamela Higdon.
Buddy proudly served his country as an honorable Army Veteran from October 29, 1968, to April 4, 1973. After completing his military service, he began a long career as a Railroad Switchman, a role he dedicated himself to until his retirement.
To those who knew him, Buddy was a gentle soul with a sweetness in his eyes that made family and friends feel cherished. He had a gift for bringing laughter into any room and made it his mission to spread joy throughout his life. Whether he was cracking jokes, sharing stories, or simply offering a warm smile, Buddy created moments of happiness that will be remembered forever. He especially loved growing out his beard during the holidays so he could play Santa—a role he embraced with pride and a twinkle in his eye.
Buddy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family. He will be remembered for his embrace, his humor, his unforgettable laugh, and the crystal‑blue eyes that formed bonds impossible to break.
