Karen and I met when I was 5 and became best friends. I spent as much time at her house as I did my own. There are so many good memories it is hard to list them. I remember how hard she worked yet her house was always spotless, meals were always on the table and Karen’s schoolwork was always done. Never one time did I ever hear her complain about how hard her life was or hear her say a bad word. She was always a shining example to the girls in and out her door of how to be a real lady. I think my favorite memories were when it was bedtime she would make us eggnog and in the mornings coffee. I felt so grown up having coffee, even though it was 2/3 milk, 1/3 coffee. She just had a way of making us feel special. Thank you, Clarice. Fly high💞💕
The past few days have really been special. There have been a lot of memories shared from all of the grandchildren that we all had the privilege of experiencing. My Granny was a special woman who loved everyone and loved us kids even more. I love you Granny and hope we can all be together in time.
Aunt Recie as we called her was always the kindest and sweetest lady, she would always greet us with her characteristic voice saying “Come on in!” She had a great laugh and was quite witty. Always a pleasant and kind person. We really loved her and felt so much warmth around her. She will be greatly missed. Keith & Larissa Redman and family. Katy, Texas.
I had the pleasure of caring for Ms.Cangemi a little over a year. Each morning when I’d go to her apartment she was always smiling and watching her clock. She’d tease and say “get over here you’re right on time.” No matter what type of day you we’re having she could turn it around. All of us came to love and respect her “straight talk no sugar-coating personality.” On behalf of myself and all the other caregivers we offer our sincere condolences and want the family to know she will be missed but we know she’s in a better place. It’s very fitting that she loved angels. She’s now our angel...
