Cesar Ruiz's Obituary
Cesar Ruiz Sr., born on December 30, 1951, in San Isidro, Texas went to be with the Lord Jesus on December 13, 2025 in Houston, Texas.
Cesar is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elvira Beltran Ruiz; his children Cesar Jr., Maribel (Samuel) Mendizabal, and Carlos (Johana) Ruiz. He is forever Papo and cherished by his grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Ylliana (Guillermo), Daniel (Jouliany), David, Katherine, Stephanie, Mireya, Monika, Rebekah, Carlos Jr. “CJ” and great-grandson, Roman Roy Mendizabal.
He was also beloved by his entire extended family as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous family and friends.
Cesar is preceded in death by his parents Pedro & Maura Ruiz and his brother Mario Ruiz.
Cesar worked as a site safety manager for Brown & Root/KBR for over 28 years and inspired every person he came in to contact with. His former coworkers always kept in touch with him beyond work and always went to him because they knew he could help them.
Cesar was a member of Royalwood Church with Pastor Ron Macey, where he faithfully served for over 10 years. He served on the Executive Board of Mundo Pentecostal with Pastor Jorge Mendizabal for over 20 years. He was currently serving on the executive board of Iglesia de Royalwood with his son-in-law Pastor Samuel Mendizabal.
Cesar Ruiz Sr. was loved by everyone he encountered. He was “Papo” to everyone. His sudden passing has left a void in our hearts, but we are encouraged knowing that he is now resting in the Presence of the Lord. We love you, Papo.
