Ms. Cassie Smith's Obituary
Cassie Smith made her Earthly appearance on November 6, 1969 in Pasadena, Texas as the child of Cecil and Rose Smith. Cassie continually blessed anyone and everyone she crossed in this life, even making an occupation out of blessing children when they needed her most as a therapist, and then as a Manager of Therapy Services at the Children's Assessment Center. After 48 years of blessing her family and friends, Cassie was called back to heaven on February 28, 2018 in Houston, Texas.
Cassie is preceded in her return to Heaven by her parents, Cecil and Rose, and her mother-in-law Julie. She is survived by her spouse of many years, Bert; stepson and daughter-in-law Bert Jr. and Yvette; grandson Ethan James; father-in-law and wife, Albert and Reyna; sisters, Kim and Ellen; nieces, Kaitlyn, Kristina, and Alexis; nephew, wife, and his son, Dustin, Nikki, and Oliver; one of many of her close friends, Mary Coleman; an abundance of extended family and close work friends; and last but not least, her puppy Chopper.
At this time her friends and family would like to thank everyone for their continued support during this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
