Carl "Bubba" Loyd Holley's Obituary
Carl Loyd Holley Jr., 45, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 14, 2026, in Houston. Born on November 3, 1980, to Carl Holley and Paula McWilliams, Carl spent his entire life rooted in the city he loved.
Carl built a long and successful career as a director of sales, where his leadership, dedication, and genuine care for others left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple but meaningful parts of life camping beneath open skies, cooking meals that brought people together, and spending cherished time with his closest family and friends.
Carl is survived by his beloved children, Aliyah Danielle Holley-Banks and Ethan Parker Holley-Banks; his sisters, Amy M. Turek (Jason Turek) and Christen M. Brown (Robert Brown); his brothers, Eddie Ingersol, George Miller, and Daniel Gingrich; and his Mom 2, Mary Holley. Each of them carries forward his memory, his humor, and his unwavering love.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paula McWilliams and Carl Holley; his grandmother, Madelene Hart; and his grandfather, Seth Coats.
In honor of Carl’s lifelong compassion for others, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a nonprofit organization supporting foster care and adoption for children.
