Byron Lee Phillips' Obituary
Byron Lee Phillips, 79 years old, went to be with our Lord on January 17, 2021.
Byron was born on June 1, 1941 in Troy, Texas to Lincoln and Sarina Phillips. He graduated from Galena Park High School in 1959. He worked as an inspector at Armco Steel and owned Bayou Pest Control.
Byron was an amazing, wonderful father and grandfather. He loved his family and was always there to listen and support them. He was greatly loved and will be missed so much!!! There will always be a missing piece in our hearts, but we are all better by the privilege of having him in our lives.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents and infant son.
He is survived by his son Byron Phillips, Jr. and wife Jessica of Crosby, and his daughter Kim Berrey and husband Wayne of Houston. Three grandchildren: Wade Williams, Dakota Dunagan and wife Candace, and Emily Phillips. Two great granddaughters: Abigail Williams and Kinsley (Little Dakota) Dunagan. His high school sweetheart and mother of his children, Judy Phillips. His sister, Nancy Harrison and husband Ken; and numerous family and friends.
