Friends are important. Loyal friends are indispensable. If you were lucky enough to be a friend of Blake's... you knew that he was one of the most loyal friends to have in your corner. Even if his loyalty was at times to a fault but that is what we all loved most about him. From the time he stole Brody's car and drove over without a license to pick me up from a random house that I woke up at in North Shore (long story) or the many times he allowed me to crash at his house much to the chagrin of his parents who gave no such permission. Memories of Blake always bring a smirk to my face. And leave those around me wondering ...What the hell is he thinking about? So on this day of giving Thanks...I Thank God for the short time I had in Blake's presence. I will always remember the times we spent hanging out on the roof of Schochler drinking cheap beer, smoking in front of Brian's house or cruising over to Kristina's house with Nathan Suarez dirving his '72 Chevy and Blake sitting in the middle messing with the radio. So on this first Thanksgiving without Blake, I raise a Glenlivet in his honor...Thanks again for your friendship Blake. I'll miss you and will always remember the good times. Your friend,

Blake was a good person, and a great friend to many people. I've heard so many stories about his joking around and love of life. He will be missed by many, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I have so much respect for Blake. I remember his laughter when he was a kid (even when he was being impish). And as a grown man, how in conversation he gave his full attention, with bright eyes, ready to laugh, again. That's how I'll remember Blake, with bright smiling eyes. It's very hard to believe that the last time we spoke would be the last opportunity. But I will pray. Please God, bless those closest to Blake. I hope you find peace and comfort in his love that does, will always, remain. Love you little cousin.
