Celebrating the Life of Billy Cal “Hardcore” Stidham Sr.
Billy “Hardcore” Stidham Sr. was born on February 22nd 1942, in Greenville Texas and was called to Heaven on July 15th 2015, in Jacinto City Texas. Billy was the 3rd of 3 children born to his loving parents Calvin Turner Stidham and Mabel Jewel Stidham.
On December 8th 1962 Billy married the love of his life, Patricia Lois Wilburn and the two were blessed with two children Billy Jr. and Sheryl.
In 1967 He began a career at Houston Lighting and Power, Green Bayou Unit, and in December 2002, after 35 Years of service Billy retired and then became even more involved with The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 3098, where he held numerous offices.
In his younger years, Billy spent time fishing with his Father-in-law, however he found coaching little league baseball in Jacinto City to be one of life’s most important events and pastime and he is known to have coached for many years.
Hardcore is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, and grandson Justin Stidham. He is survived by his Loving Wife, Patricia Stidham, Son and Daughter-in-law Billy Jr. and Jackie Stidham, Daughter and Son-in-law, Sheryl and Dan Orn, Grandson and wife Jared and Ashley Stidham, Granddaughter and husband Amy and D.J. Paige, Grandson Trey Stidham, Great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Levi, Harper and Daisy Grace; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers for "Hardcore" will be Alan Williams, Delbert Burleson, Keith Courville, Philip Guest, Richard (Red) Pendley and Dan Orn.
Funeral Services will be held on the grounds of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home, and at this time the family would like to thank everyone for their expressions of sympathy during this difficult time…all the thoughts , warm wishes and condolences are greatly appreciated.
