Barbara W. Moran age 94 of Sugar Land, Texas passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. She was born July 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio to Bruce and Jeanie Whipple. She attended University of Kentucky with an interest in pharmacy. She loved reading, art, and history. She loved to say, “I know history.” Barbara’s love of history encouraged her lifelong love of reading and travel. Some highlights were vising Ireland, Italy, and her favorite, England, where she was able to fulfil the dream of attending Wimbledon.
Barbara married her high school sweetheart Thomas “Tommy” B. Moran, and they celebrated 50 years together until his passing in 1998. His corporate career included many moves and Barb enjoyed interior decorating new homes, meeting new friends, and developing hobbies like golf and skiing.

She is survived by her five children, her 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Barbara was surrounded by light and love up to the end of life. Rest well Barbara.
