Barbara Jean Jackson's Obituary
Barbara Jean Jackson passed away on August 9, 2023, Kingwood, Texas at the blessed age of 80. She was born on March 23, 1943, to Robert Nunnally and Thelma Dell Faris in Richmond, Virginia.
Barbara retired from Exxon Mobile where she worked as a Customer Service Representative for over 30 years. She was a devoted, active member of First Baptist Church of Sheldon, where she served as the secretary, she was also a member of the Highlands Community Center.
Barbara enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, and traveling with her friends from the community center. She also loved spending her time with her grand and great grandchildren with all their activities.
Barbara had a special place in her heart for her two puppies, Bella and Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Thelma Nunnally, sisters, Judy Nunnally, Carolyn Fulghum, and her grandson, Christopher Perry.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Melissa Huey (Carlos of Houston, TX), Monica Riggs (Jeff of LaPorte, TX), Robin Wofford (Ben of Mabank, TX), and Kristy Barrow, honorary daughter.
Her sons, James Perry, Michael Perry; her honorary sister, Catherine Conner-Curtis; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Love, Amber Griffin, Anthony and Bronzalynn Beck, Jag Goines, Jake Riggs, Marissa Bell, Sarah Richardson, Colton Prater, Cherissa Perry, Tiffany Smith and Justin Smith as well as 27 great-grandchildren. Barbara touched many lives and was lovingly referred to her as Mawmaw.
