I met Barbara when I was in High School with her daughters. She always was a great example to us as teens, always outgoing and supportive. May God's comfort and strength be with the family she loved and all who knew her as we travel through our grief.
What a warm and wonderful home Mrs. Adams created! I spent so many blissful childhood hours there, including sleepovers highlighted by the best breakfasts I ever ate. We enjoyed her Christmas newsletters for many, many years and will think of her so fondly this holiday season. Godspeed, and wishing much love and peace to her beautiful family.
Barbara Adams was one of my dearest friends. She was like a second mother to me and a source of inspiration for me. I came to know Barbara through St Timothy's Episcopal Church, and we have been friends for 35 plus years. We sang in the choir together, and when my mother died 3 years ago, she became my surrogate mom and was always there to give me advice and life lessons to guide me. I will miss her terribly and will miss our rides to church, our Sunday outings, and most importantly her friendship and wonderful spirit. My prayers go out to the entire family. I hope you all know that if you need anything all you have to do is call. Rest in peace, dear friend. My life has been enriched by knowing you. Give hugs to Lee, Nancy, my mom, and Coop. I know you will be watching over me until we meet again. I love you my friend!!!
