Mr. Baldemar Palacios' Obituary
Baldemar Palacios, 73, was born on February 14, 1942 in Mercedes, Texas to the late Antonio and Angelita Palacios and passed away on June 15, 2015 in Webster, Texas. Baldemar graduated from Mercedes High School and started his career in the railroad industry. He worked for Berwin Railcar, Pullman Railcar and retired from UTLX in 2009 after working for 40 years. Baldemar loved sports, especially football. He liked to do carpentry and gardening during his spare time.
Baldemar can be described as hardworking, loving wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His most memorable events in his life was his wedding day and the birth of his daughter and grandson.
Baldemar is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Apolonia Gonzalez-Palacios, daughter Angelica Palacios, grandson Diego Palacios; sisters Jaine Palacios, Minda Mireles and Tonia Martinez and a host of numerous relatives.
The family is will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home.
Baldemar will be remembered to all who knew him as a loving gentlemen.
