Archie Lee Parisher's Obituary
Archie Lee Parisher, 95, of Jacinto City, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
He was born on July 30, 1930, in Cherokee, Texas, to Lee and Clara Parisher. Archie grew up with strong family values and a deep appreciation for hard work, which guided him throughout his life.
Archie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from January 1951 to January 1955, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.
On September 30, 1955, he married the love of his life, Onita Joyce Voight, in Channelview, Texas. Together, they built a loving home and shared a devoted marriage that spanned more than seven decades, having celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past September.
Archie dedicated many years to his professional life, working at Shell Chemical for six years, South Post Oak A/C and Heating for eighteen years, and Don Rucker Tire Company for twelve years. He was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Outside of work, Archie found joy in ranching and farming, and he especially loved hunting and spending time outdoors. These passions reflected his deep connection to nature and the simple pleasures of life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Onita Joyce Parisher of Jacinto City, Texas; his sons, Roy Parisher and his wife Kathy of La Porte, Texas, and Roger Parisher and his wife Denise of Cypress, Texas; and his brother, Harold Parisher and his wife Doris of Franklin, Texas. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Joshua and his wife Erica, Caleb and his wife Katie, Chase, and Mark.
Archie was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Parisher, and his sister, Modene Rucker Parisher.
Archie Lee Parisher will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
