Antonio Cordova Jr.'s Obituary
Antonio Cordova Jr., 70, of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 13, 2025, in the city he called home throughout his life. Born on April 21, 1955, to Antonio and Isabel Cordova, Antonio grew up rooted in family, community, and tradition.
He married his beloved wife, Elizabeth Salazar, on February 1, 1978, in Houston, and together they built a close-knit and loving family. Antonio dedicated 14 years of his life to the transportation industry, working with Worldwide Machinery, where he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and dependability.
In his younger years, Antonio had a spirited love for bowling and playing pool, sharing many good times and laughs with friends and family. In later years, he found comfort in the nostalgia of old western television shows—often rewatching his favorites and reliving the simpler times they represented.
Antonio’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth, and their sons: Joseph A. Cordova, Andrew Cordova, and Jared Cordova. He was a proud grandfather to Joseph A. Cordova Jr., Elijah Cordova, and Celeste Cordova, and a doting great-grandfather to Emery Jade Cordova. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Cecilia Coleman and Gloria Cerda, and brothers, Arturo Cordova and Johnny Ray Cordova.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Cordova Sr. and Isabel Calvillo.
Antonio will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love for family, and the warmth he brought to every room. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
