Mr. Anthony Jude Stone's Obituary
Anthony was a man of simple taste and modest means. He did not desire fame or fortune. He enjoyed life. He loved the beach, fishing, baseball and football. He loved to watch high school football, where he went all over east Texas to watch. He loved to umpire baseball games at Jacinto City Little League for over thirty years. Serving as President for one year. He umpired the Liga Obrera for over ten years. He worked as a cook for Luby’s Cafeteria for over twenty-five years. He then moved to Angelica Linens where he worked on the docks for ten years before his hip injury forced him into disability. Anthony lived in Houston and Crockett, Texas all of his life.
Most of all Anthony loved people. All who came into contact with Anthony were instantly his friends and they remembered him.
We remember Anthony as a special man, who will be in our hearts and minds forever.
God bless you, Anthony and may eternal light shine upon you.
