Anthony Jackson's Obituary
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Anthony Jackson, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, who was called to his eternal rest on May 19, 2024, in Houston, Texas.
Born in Baytown, Texas, on the first day of August in 1991, to his loving parents, Tabatha Kay Boden and Vernie Dean Hathorn, Anthony's journey through life was marked by a steadfast devotion to his Christian faith, a commitment to his education, and an unwavering pursuit of his passions.
Anthony's recent baptism was a testament to his deep faith and his commitment to walking a Christian path. A diligent student, he earned an Associate Degree in Design Engineering and Drafting and was on the verge of completing his Bachelor's degree, a testament to his dedication and hard work.
His love for computer games, Pokémon, Anime, and his impressive collection of swords were only matched by his love for adventure. Anthony's zest for life saw him seeking thrills on zip lines, always accompanied by the loyal companionship of his dog, Maximus Jackson, who was more than a pet, but his son.
Anthony lived by a code of authenticity, always speaking the truth with clarity and conviction. A man of principle, he saw the world in stark contrast, and his honesty was as refreshing as it was rare. He was a beacon of integrity to all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his father, Vernie Dean Hathorn, Anthony's memory is honored and cherished by his mother, Tabatha Hathorn; his honorary sisters, Kalie Smith and Destiny Langwell; his best friend, Kelly Dunaway; his stepbrothers, Matthew Peter Hathorn with his wife Reyna, and Michael Wayne Hathorn; his grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends whose lives he touched.
Anthony's departure from this world leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him. As we gather to bid farewell, we celebrate a life lived with passion, a spirit unbound by the ordinary, and a heart that loved as fiercely as it spoke.
