Anselmo Palacios' Obituary
Anselmo Palacios, 92, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 18th, 2012. He was a long time resident of Houston, Texas.
Anselmo was born April 21, 1920 in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Napoleon Palacios and Guadalupe Gonzalez. He immigrated to the United States in 1949 and worked various jobs and eventually became the Warehouse Manager at Michelin Tire Corp in Houston, Texas. He retired from Michelin in 1975. He became a Christian in 1977 and was very involved in church work up until his last days. Anselmo is survived by his wife of 67 years, Josefina Palacios, his sister Guadalupe Palacios Martinez, his brothers Napoleon Palacios, and Santiago Palacios, his 8 children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. We shall remember many things about Bro. Palacios: his love for the Word of God, truth, family, and church, his wisdom and counsel and his love for mission work in Mexico. And of course, we shall never forget his yummy "menudo" that was always prepared when he knew family was coming. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Life and Family Center, 618 Baca, Houston, Texas.
