Anna Marie Kirk's Obituary
Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of Anna Marie Kirk, who left us on December 10, 2024, in Humble, Texas. Born on March 24, 1943, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Anna was the cherished daughter of Lillian Mai Murray and Paul Edward Bourlon.
Anna married the love of her life, Joseph M. Kirk, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. She dedicated over 40 years of her life as a special education counselor with the Channelview ISD district, touching countless young lives with her compassion and dedication.
A founding member of Sterling Wood Church, Anna's faith and community were at the heart of everything she did. She had a passion for reading, cooking, games, crafting, painting, but above all, she treasured spending time with her family. Her home was always a gathering place, filled with the aroma of her delicious meals and the joy of shared moments.
Anna's gentle spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. We will forever cherish the memories of her bright smile, her warm hugs, and the wisdom she shared.
Anna Marie Kirk was survived by her son Joseph M. Kirk Jr. from Gatesville, Texas. Her grandchildren Karen Chapman from Humble, Texas and Amanda Kirk from Gulfport, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Kirk. Her daughter Cheryl Chapman and Son Scott Kirk. Her sisters Renee Bourlon and Jackie Hawkins. Her brother Paul Bourlon Jr.
As we say goodbye, we hold her close in our hearts, knowing that her love will continue to guide and inspire us. Anna will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
