Ms. Ann Wilmesmeier's Obituary
Ann Wilmesmeier, 79, of Houston, Texas went home May 14, 2018 surrounded by love and all of her family. She was born in Houston, Texas on April 25, 1939 to Edward John and Ruth Garvey. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary, her husband Bruce Trammell, Sr., their son Bruce Trammell, Jr., and her nieces Sharon, Dawn and Joan Nelms. She is survived by her sister Ellen, her husband Robert Nelms, Sr., their son Robert Nelms, Jr., her nephew Mark Trammell, niece Lynn, her husband Mike Justice and their son Phillip, her great-nephew Garrett Richey, her four daughters, Laura Wilmesmeier, Julie Martin, her husband Bruce Martin, their daughter Katie, her husband Dave Nides, their son Joshua, son William, his wife Rachel Craven and son Wyatt Craven, Karen Wilmesmeier, Carol Laurents, her husband Christopher Laurents and their son Jordan Ashworth. Ann was a proud retired GPISD science teacher for 20 years and believed in kindness, family and education. Her daughters' fondest memory is of their mother, at the age of 40, putting herself through University of Houston in order to follow a life-long dream of being an educator. She was known by all of her students at Northshore Middle School as Mrs. W.
A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held Sunday, May 20 at 12:00PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home located at 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015.
