Ana Julia Chavez
Ana passed peacefully from this life the morning of July 24, after a gradual decline in health caused by a broken heart.
She was surrounded supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. She couldn’t be without her beloved husband Jaime R. Chavez.
She traveled to Mexico & El Salvador Frequently with her husband Jaime where the visited relatives. She continued to live in the Houston, Area for the remainder of her life.
Ana Julia is survived by 6 children and their spouses Jaime & Belen Chavez, Geovanni Chavez, Alex Hernandez, Cesar & Sylvia Hernandez, Manuel & Eva Hernandez, Isabel Hernandez & Fiancé Michael Mercado; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four brothers Jorge; Ernesto, Francisco Galvez and Manuel Diaz; three sisters Dinora, Liliana and Vicky Galvez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jaime R. Chavez, Sr; her parents Manuel & Rosa Galvez; her in laws Juan & Erlinda Hernandez Chavez; two children Juan and Doris Chavez; sister Rosa Adela Lim and sister-in-law Emily Galvez.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 5 PM to 8 PM with a service to begin promptly at 6:30 PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. Visitation will continue Friday, July 31, 2020 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM with a graveside service at 2:30 PM at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
