Albert Millard Gore Jr. was born in Houston, TX to Albert and Regina Gore on September 11, 1958. Albert was raised in Channelview, TX.
He is preceded in death by his Father-Albert Gore SR. and Brother-Phillip Gore. He is survived by his Mother-Regina Gore, Sister-Alyce Webb, Sister-Bertha Williams, Brother-Roy Gore, Son-Heath Gore, Daughter in law-Kimberly Gore and Granddaughters-Emmalee, Kelsea and Julianna Gore.
He graduated from Channelview High School at the age of 17 and went to work at Lyondell in the Maintenance department under Greenwade Services. After many years of working for Greenwade Services he was transferred to Austin Industrial where he continued to work until he passed. The last several years he worked in the lab.
Albert married Linda King in May of 1984 and was married for 20 years. They were blessed with one child, Heath Albert Gore.
Albert was also in a long term relationship with Beverly Clack. They parted ways but remained very close friends.
He was very passionate about barbecuing. He enjoyed barbecuing and was on the company cook team for over 20 years. The cook team attended the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo cook off. He was also involved in many community functions where he would barbecue for their fundraisers.
Albert and Heath loved to attend monster truck events, fishing, camping,and just enjoying family time together. He really enjoyed being a Pawpaw and was loved by many. He never met a stranger. He was a great character with a big personality. He had a big heart and would always be the first to offer assistance if any was needed. He always made a point to call for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions. If he didn't get a hold of you, he would leave a cheerful voicemail.
Albert is survived by many friends and family who will surely miss him.
