Agnes "Louise" Collins' Obituary
Agnes “Louise” Collins, (95), passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on Tuesday, November 3, 1925 to John E. and Agnes Baldwin in Veach, Texas.
Louise married Winnie N. Collins on December 15, 1945 in Channelview, Texas. She worked as a Courtesy Booth Manager for Weingarten grocery until her retirement. She was a member at Schwab City Baptist Church and the past 10 years she attended Champion Forest Baptist Church.
Louise enjoyed working in her church and liked to fish and hunt!
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Winnie; parents; brother Elmer Baldwin; and her sister-in-law, Martha Baldwin.
Louise is survived by children, James Collins and his wife Denise, daughter Shirley Stringer and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Lori Schneider and Scott, Shonda Clay and Stephen, Jeff Stringer and Alison, Tina Prestwich and Hoss, Nathan Collins and Misty; Holly Wilson and David; April Carrell and Kenneth. 19 Great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grand-children; and many other loving relatives and friends.
I would like to thank Brookdale Willowbrook Place for all the loving care, especially through COVID-19. Also, Jessica, the sweetest Hospice nurse.
Services will be held at San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home with a visitation to be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. A service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10:00 am with interment to follow.
