We celebrate the beautiful life of Aaron Solis, who passed away on December 25th, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Born on August 17th, 1948, in Mexico, Aaron was a hardworking and energetic man whose zest for life touched everyone around him.
Aaron loved to fish, often going to Texas City to fish on the rocks and delighted in hosting fish fries for family and friends. His passion for sports shone in his love for basketball and baseball; he played with enthusiasm and won trophies while in a softball league. Always on the move and never wanting to retire, Aaron enjoyed driving and cruising in his car. His adventurous spirit led him to the casino, where he found joy in playing the slot machines.
Cherishing time spent cooking fish and crabs for everyone, Aaron brought his family together over delicious meals. His love for outdoor activities and cooking was a testament to his vibrant personality and generous heart. Aaron's resilience, determination, and hardworking nature were inspiring to all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons Larry, Jimmy, Aaron, Jason, and his daughter Marissa; his siblings Primitivo Solís Montes, Araceli Solís-Rosales, Maria Luisa Solís Montes, and Sofia S. Cantu. Aaron was a proud grandfather to 17 Grandkids and 9 Great-Grandkids. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jose Luis Solís Montes and Mario Alberto Solís Montes.
Aaron's legacy of hard work, love for life, and dedication to his family will continue to inspire those who knew him. As we remember his joyful spirit and the countless happy memories he created, we celebrate a life well-lived.
