Aaron Gonzalez, Sr. age 76, of Midway, Texas went to be our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Bryan, Texas. He was born on June 29, 1946, to Guadalupe and Antonia Gonzalez in Bay City, Michigan.
Aaron married Evelyn Adams on July 26, 1974, in Greenville, Mississippi. They had 6 children, Anna, Rebekah, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rachael, and Aaron Jr.
He worked as a pipefitter and welder at Trinity Industry until 1996. Aaron was a devout member of United Methodist Church in Midway, Texas and would carry his bible with him and read it daily. He enjoyed listening to his family sing and play the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Antonia Gonzalez; siblings, Moses Gonzalez, Sr., Daniel Saenz Gonzalez, Eva Denmon, Alfred De La Fuente, Manuel De La Fuente, Raquel Gonzalez, Pueblo Gonzalez, Mayo Gonzalez, and Cruz Gonzalez.
Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Evelyn Delores Gonzalez of Columbus, Mississippi; daughters, Anna Rodriguez of Houston, Texas, Rebekah G. Currie and David Egbert of Channelview, Texas, Sarah G. Delgadillo and Jesse Delgadillo of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth G. Shirey, and William Shirey of Channelview, Texas, Rachel G. Farris and Adam Farris of Houston, Texas, and Aaron Gonzalez, Jr. and Elizabeth Craun Gonzalez, of Hampton, Virginia; sisters, Myra Fazekas, of Ontario, Canada, and Elizabeth of the Valley, brothers, Adam Gonzalez, Sr. of Greenville, Mississippi, 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.
