My favorite memory with Deb was when I turned 21 and she threw an in promptu birthday party for me. We had been at Astroworld celebrating my 21st birthday and she bought me my first legal beer. After that we went to the open air concert Cheap Trick and Joan Jett. We had a blast and several of our other friends showed up and joined in, we had an amazing time.
But that was Debbie always making sure everyone was having a good time. RIP
Deb was always a special friend to me. We worked together for 13 years at Exxon. She showed me the ropes when I first started and always made time to help me figure things out when I needed help. She was also a good friend to me on a personal level. We stayed in touch even after I retired and moved to Tenneessee. She didn’t let her illness defeat her spirit and was always upbeat and positive. She was a warm, caring, and all-around good person. I will miss our conversations and I will miss her. Now she can rest in peace.
