Bev and Steve - you know the losses I have encountered over the years, but I cannot even begin to imagine the depth of your loss. It hurts my heart that you are suffering so. I apologize for taking so long to write this, but everytime I opened this email and see Laura's beautiful face, I would just break down because she was so precious and close to my heart. All I know is that God needed a very "special" earth angel to be present in His kingdom, and that is why He chose Laura. May God bless you and keep you in the shadow of His wings. I have known Laura since the early 1980's when Beverly and I were working at G & H Transportation. We even all three worked together at Enron. My heart is broken and I know she is looking down saying "Don't be

I HAVE KNOWN LAURA SINCE SHE WAS 2 1/2 YR OLD. SHE WAS A SWEET GIRL WHO WAS NO TROUBLE AT ALL. SHE WAS SMART AND TALENTED. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF BABYSITTING HER AND GIN THRU OUT THEIR CHILD HOOD. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN THE SUMMER I WATCHED THEM WHEN UNCLE STEVE WAS IN THE POLICE ACADEMY. SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY THEY WERE BOTH LITTLE GIRLS I ENTERTAINED WHILE OUR PARENTS PLAYED CARDS OR WATCHED FOOTBALL GAMES. I LOVE AND MISS HER VERY MUCH. I was so saddened to hear of sweet Laura's passing. She is such a joy! I am praying for her family and friends. We love you, Laura!
Laura was a wonderful, beautiful, loving, caring person. I miss her smile, her laugh, her little text-message pictures of Erik. She loved being a wife and mother more than anything. All my love to Ken, Gin, Bev, Steve, and everyone else who knows how much darker the world will be without her grace to light the way.

Laura was such a sweet and wonderful person. She always was nice to everyone. We always used to battle for 1st chair baritone in high school. I met up with her again one semester at Sam Houston. She was still going strong with the baritone and just as nice as ever. She seemed to be having a great time at SHSU. I am just so sad and shocked to find out she left us at such a young age. We'll always remember you Laura.
