Mr. Wendell Gary Buck

November 11, 1955 - February 7, 2022

Wendell Gary Buck (Known as Gary Buck) was born November 11, 1955 in Pasadena, TX to Carl Clayton Buck and Leota Priest Buck. Gary was the youngest of 6 children. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1974. He was a 46 year member of Pipefitters Local No. 211. He retired from Dynamic Products on April 4, 2018 after 30 years of service. He was a heavy equipment operator most of his life. Gary was a good ole boy and worked hard all his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior when he was a young man. He was like a big ole teddy bear! When he was young, he loved playing baseball for the Hawks and the Giants. He also loved hunting with his dad. He loved going to his sisters lake house at LBJ and Carlene and James’ when they moved to Tomball. His most recent interests were fishing and Bar-B-Que. Gary married Cynthia Gilmore on October 7, 1978. Even though they never had children, there were several children (not ever related) that referred to them as “Uncle Gary” and “Aunt Cindy”. Gary is survived by wife, Cynthia Buck and sister and brother in law, Carlene and James Durrett of Magnolia, TX. He is also survived by brother in law, Richard Deese and sister in laws Becky Buck and Cheryl Gilmore. He also has many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and numerous friends. Gary was preceded in death by father, Carl Clayton Buck and his mother and her husband, Leota and Marion Robertson. Siblings preceding him in death were Billie Williams and husband Harvie Williams, Ronald Buck, Barbara Deese, and Steven Buck. Gary was also preceded in death by mother-in-law, Hazel Gilmore and brother in law, Bob Gilmore.
