Walter William Fuelberg, (99) passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Humble Texas. He was born on Friday, September 22, 1922, in Brenham, Texas. He was the 7th child of 8 children born to Frederick Heinrick Herman Fuelberg (Fritz) and Anna Louise Sophie Seeker (Annie). Walter was baptized in the Lutheran Faith on December 10, 1922, in Wiedeville, Texas and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith on April 24,1938 by the scripture verse Psalm 18 verse 2. Walter married Delores Roese in Frieden’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Washington, Texas on June 15, 1941. They had two children Betty and Ronald. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from April 3, 1945, to June 3, 1946. Walter and his family moved to Harris County in June of 1946. He worked at Armco Steel for 33 years and retired on May 1, 1983. Walter was in Rosemont Assisted Living from February 5, 2015, until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores and son-in-law, Donald Bowman. Walter is survived by his children, Betty Ann Bowman, Ronald Wayne Fuelberg and daughter-in-law Helen. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ronald Christopher Fuelberg, (Chris), and wife Sherry, Elizabeth (Bowman) Burke and husband David, Fred Bowman and wife Roxanne, and Martha Bowman; 5 great-grandchildren, Lauren Makenzy Fuelberg, Walker Burke, Novena Bowman, Cerese Bowman, and Archard Bowman. Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
