David Lee Mueller

David Lee Mueller went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2021. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother that was loved by more than words can express. He is proceeded in death by his father Marvin Mueller, sister Susan Kliever and niece Ella Grace Alexander. He is survived by his mother Ann Mueller, his son David Dean Mueller and wife Melany, two grandchildren Nicky Sue and Patricia. Coming from a large family which included 7 siblings, his living brothers and sisters include Niles McWilliams, Debbie Shanks, Kathy Ladner, Richard Mueller, Christy Horner as well as 15 plus nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. David was a loving family man with a listening ear. He gloated over his only son, David. Constantly cheering and supporting his son in all endeavors. His favorite pastime was playing with his grandchildren, especially the oldest, Nicky. He spoiled Nicky rotten, purchasing numerous toys that other kids would only dream of like a pink car which was her favorite. David’s lifelong passion in life was carpentry with an enormous servant’s heart. He engineered difficult and time-consuming projects around the house for the betterment of his parents. He consistently assisted his son/family members on various projects that desired a better mouse trap from scratch without instructions. His creativity and hand skills provided a 25yr career at OxyChem. He was well known for having a wonderful knack of solving problems, patents for his performance, as well as one of the hardest working machinists ever employed. David’s family and friends describe him as a loving, kind, peaceful, gentle person with a humble spirit. Though he left this world far too soon, he left his family and friends a better place in life.
