Charlotte was such a sweet, talented, beauty.
She was a gifted giver and was always thinking of others. I treasure all the wonderful memories I have of our times together. She taught me how to cook some meals for my family and of course desserts.
She had an incredible gift of cooking.
She treated all of us like family.
When I was a new teacher I asked her and Lee is they would come to my 4th grade social studies class and give an oral history. The students had questions for them. She brought family heirlooms to show. She also brought a jar with cream in it for them to pass around while she talked.
Afterwards she told the students to look at the jar now. It had turned to butter. And of course she brought crackers for them to eat it on.
I love you Charlotte. RIP my dear friend. Prayers to the family. She will be missed
