You were and always will be my favorite uncle. I will always remember ur smile and contagious laugh. One of my best memories that I will always hold dear to my heart... when I was little bitty, you would bring the girls to grandma's house before work. Since I was an only child, I always wanted to be with them. Every afternoon you would pick them up, I would ask you if the girls were coming to grandma's house the next day because I wanted to spend the night at ur house. If they wouldn't because Theresa was off, you would tell me I could go anyway and you would bring me back to grandma's before work. You would wake me up at 5 in the morning and tell me to go back to sleep and you would wake me up when we got there. That would make me so happy, and you knew it. You always looked after me like I was one of ur girls. You were the most genuine and honest man I've ever met. And I had the honor of being your niece. I'm glad I made it to see you that friday. The last thing you told me before I walked out, was you love me. I will forever miss you and love you. RIP my favorite tio.

My heart breaks for the loss of such a great man! The days ahead will not be easy, and yes, life will forever change, but just think, when your time comes, know that he will be waiting with open arms to lovingly welcome you into heaven, which is where I'm sure he is rejoicing.

Tio.. I do not know where to begin and I still can’t believe you are no longer with us. Thank you for always being so great and kind to me and now with my own family you always welcomed us and were so sweet when we would visit Houston. It was such a blessing to have the opportunity to know you since I was 16yrs old. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for everything you have done for my daughters and I. Just know I will forever protect them and keep them safe. Your granddaughters (Kayla & Emma) will miss you and those evening pickups from school. You were always a very hard worker, a true family man and a phone call away when I needed you. Rest easy and lets hope for another World Series for the Astros.

The last words you told me ,”I love you, mija!” I keep hearing those words in my head everyday. I’m thankful for having you as my dad. You have shown me love, kindness and the meaning of family. You are the only one who knew me. I will miss our phone calls after work and your giggle. I know you worried about everyone, just know we will be okay. Some how some way without you. One thing I do know you had a lot of patients with all of us. You never gave up on any of us. I will always miss you and love you the rest of my life, until we meet again. ❤️

Hugo, I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t think you were supposed to go this soon, but God had a plan for you. You can be sure that everything will be alright. I know you worried about the roof and the driveway. I will get all that done and other little things I know you wanted to do and didn’t get a chance to finish.
You were a good family man and husband.. you always worried about family arguing with each other no matter who it was. But now you can Rest In Peace and not worry about anything. Know that everything will be alright.
