When I came into band at Cedar Bayou High School, Ted was among a fairly small number of older boys who took band seriously. I remember that he announced that he had written march (whether he was serious about it, or if it was a gag, I don't remember), but I remember the title: "The March of the Rubber Life Raft." I don't recall ever seeing David after he graduated, every memory I have of him is positive.
